UnIqUe PrOm DRESSES!!!!?

Be sure to find a seamstress well in advance, too, because during prom season they're schedules are really full, and you want to make sure you get your dress finished in time.

Have fun!!

It always depends on your budget and personal style--what about a vintage-style prom dress? Or you could get an authentic vintage prom dress. Be sure to go by dress measurements rather than sizes because sizes change over the decades.

. Be sure you choose a good seamstress: ask to see dresses she's made in the past, and if possible get referrals from acquaintances. There are a lot of sites online that sell authentic vintage dresses--just type "buy vintage dresses" on a search engine, and you'll find a bunch of sites. If you see a dress that you like that's vintage but would rather have a new one made just for you, take a photo/picture of it to a good seamstress, and they'll be able to make it for you. 50's dresses have a glamorous style that will pop out in a crowd; 60's dresses have a more mod style; 70's dresses are typically long, with a sleek outline--a lot of empire waists and spaghetti straps
